Allimand Nonwovens Competence Center is :

  • An innovation center for new technologies, with an analysis and quality control laboratory.
  • A complete, highly flexible pilot line for developing high-tech products

The pilot line enables paper and nonwovens to be produced under near-industrial conditions with :

  • Wide basis weight range from 9 g/m² to 3200 g/m²
  • Raw materials such as:
    • Cellulose pulps
    • Long fibers: Abaca, Flax, hemp, kenaf, …
    • Synthetic fibers: PP, PET, PA
    • Viscose rayon and derivates
    • High-tech fibers: aramids, PTFE, composite fibers
    • Mineral fibers: ceramic glass, microglass, rock wool

The competence center enables Allimand customers to test their products and raw materials with Allimand technology.
