This is essential for the saturation of glass mats.

Binder application by excess by curtain coating.

The Microflow Applicator which applies a thin film of binder to the wet formed sheet. The Microflow Applicator is specially designed to allow an even distribution of the binder across the width thanks to its parabolic header and its perforated plate. The saturator wire section is equipped with 3 vacuum boxes to fix the binder across the width and in the final product thickness.

Advantages

  • It is possible to use different type of binder (Latex, UF Resins, etc…)
  • The saturator section can operate with 1 or 2 microflow applicators.
  • Easy access for maintenance and cleaning thanks to the unclutching header
  • A special cover is applied on the internal walls of the microflow applicator to prevent dry latex sticking and facilitate the cleaning.
