Allimand has the design and manufacturing of dryer part configurations down to a fine art, even the most specific and challenging. The choice of design depends on several parameters:

• Type of stock
• Type of paper or fibre mat
• Basis weight
• Speed
• Runnability
• shrinkage

Each dryer is bored, turned, tested, ground and dynamically balanced in Allimand’s workshops. It can then be covered with anti-sticking cover,. Depending on the speed of the machine and the customer’s expectations, Allimand offers three types of drive: direct drive of the dryers by felt rolls, by enclosed gears or by large gears.
